I'm Maddie and I am a 21 year old artist based in Plymouth, UK, primarily working with oil paint. my work explores themes of nostalgia, familiarity and portraiture, through using loose brush strokes and a pink underpainting. The Use of pink peeps through the final product of the painting, adding vibrancy and themes of femininity and nostalgia.
I am currently in my third and final year studying Painting, Drawing and Printmaking at Arts University Plymouth. My work centres around themes of familiarity, femininity and nostalgia, all of which are very important to me.
